About Impact Dialing.

A small editorial journal on the operations behind predictive dialing: tuning, compliance, and the infrastructure that powers call centers and grassroots political phone banks.

Editorial scope

The journal covers the parts of dialing operations that take real judgment to get right: setting the dial ratio against a moving abandonment target, deciding whether AMD sensitivity is costing you live answers, and choosing infrastructure when the answer depends on what kind of organization you actually run. The audience is operators who already manage outbound campaigns and need reference-grade material that holds up across tooling generations.

What we cover

  • Dialer configuration: dial ratio, AMD sensitivity, time-zone scheduling, real-time monitoring.
  • Political and campaign telephony: TCPA, voter file segmentation, distributed volunteer models, peak load behavior.
  • Infrastructure decisions: cloud vs on-premise total cost of ownership, audio quality, security and compliance posture, deployment timelines.
